Description
A Brass Plate Heat Exchanger (Brass PHE) is a type of heat exchanger in which a series of thin metal plates are brazed together using brass as the bonding material to form a compact and highly efficient heat transfer unit. In this design, two fluids flow through alternate channels created between the plates, allowing heat to transfer through the plate surfaces without the fluids mixing. The brazing process eliminates the need for gaskets and creates a strong, sealed structure that can withstand high pressure and temperature. The corrugated pattern of the plates promotes turbulent flow, which enhances heat transfer efficiency while maintaining a small footprint. Brass brazed plate heat exchangers are commonly used in applications such as refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, oil coolers, and hydraulic systems due to their durability, compact design, and reliable thermal performance.
