Description
A Blower Type Forced Draft Cooling Tower is an efficient heat rejection system designed for industrial and commercial cooling applications. In this type of tower, a blower or centrifugal fan is installed at the air inlet, which forces air into the tower under positive pressure. This forced draft mechanism ensures a steady and controlled airflow through the fill media, enhancing the heat transfer process. The compact design makes it suitable for installations where height limitations exist and where indoor placement may be required. The cooling process operates on the principle of evaporative cooling. Warm water from the process is distributed over high-efficiency fill media, increasing the surface area for contact with air. As the blower pushes fresh air through the tower, a portion of the water evaporates, removing heat and cooling the remaining water for recirculation. Constructed typically with corrosion-resistant materials such as FRP or galvanized steel, blower type forced draft cooling towers offer durability, energy efficiency, easy maintenance, and reliable performance across HVAC systems, plastic processing plants, chemical industries, and other manufacturing facilities.
